Choose one verse about money, write what it means to you, and see your name in my next book.

I am putting together a collaborative book on what Scripture says about money, and I would love for your voice to be part of it. Choose the verse that has spoken to you, share in your own words what it means to you, and send your piece to me by October 31. Your name will appear with your piece in the book.

How it works

  1. Choose the verse that speaks to you

Each verse is written by one person, so the list only shows verses that are still open.

  2. Write what that verse means to you

Share what it has shown you about money and about God's faithfulness, in your own words.

  3. Send your piece to me by October 31

Your name appears with your piece when the book is published.

How to write your scripture chapter

The KING Chapter Framework is a simple way to write what a scripture means to you. Use it as a guide and for inspiration as you write.

  1. Key Scripture

Name the verse that will anchor your chapter. You can begin with the scripture or let your story lead the reader there.

  2. Incident

Tell one true personal story. It can be ordinary. Let us see what happened, what you noticed, and why it stayed with you.

  3. Nuance

Give the meaning. Define a word or idea if it helps. Name the wisdom you want the reader to carry away from the scripture.

  4. Governance

End with what will govern your life now. Give the reader one clear action they can take today because of this truth.

This is a framework, not a fence.

Use it as written, rearrange it, or make it your own.

Send your chapter by email

When your chapter is ready, email it to me at foluke@handinhandconsulting.net by October 31.

Choose your verse

When you choose a verse it is set aside for you and comes off the list for everyone else.

Each writer chooses one verse. You are welcome to email me at foluke@handinhandconsulting.net to ask about a second one, and I will let you know.
